Brookdale Park in Bloomfield, NJ part of the Essex County Park System
Spring Day Trip in North Jersey
This park is definitely worth the trip if you do not live near Bloomfield, NJ and are looking for a change of scenery! It does not cost one cent to park and walk around. No better day trip than a free one!
We visited this park over the weekend – April 2, 2023 and many flowers bloomed already! It was absolutely beautiful. It is the perfect family fun place to visit.
This park contains:
- Several Paved Walking Trails
- Baseball Fields
- Soccer Fields
- Pokémon Stops for the Pokémon player
- Archery Field
- Dog Park
- Beautiful playground
- Tennis courts… and the list goes on!!!
Within just a few minute walk or drive, you can grab a bite to eat at Holsten’s – luncheonette and ice cream palor. They also have delicious chocolate for sale.
If I remember correctly I believe last year this park had a butterfly garden.
