I am a Mother of 2 boys who travels to Walt Disney World often and these are my opinions and suggestions.
Can you walk from Epcot to Disney Springs? The answer is probably yes. Would I recommend it – —– NO. This is dangerous and would take a long time. Epcot to Disney Springs is roughly 3.2 miles each way. The Disney Theme parks and resorts are MASSIVE and while vacationing at WDW you are antecedently going to do a LOT of walking.
Conversely, why risk walking highways and busy areas when Disney Bus Transportation is FREE and convenient?
Accordingly you may utilize the Bus Transportation inside of the Walt Disney World which is absolutely free. In addition, each theme park has a nearby Disney resort that you can utilize for bus transportation to and from Disney Springs.
FROM MAGIC KINGDOM
- Walk to the Contemporary Resort and grab a bus heading to Disney Springs at the bus depot
- Walk, Monorail or Boat to Disney’s Grand Floridian and head to the bus depot
Originating at HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
- Walk or Boat to Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club, or Boardwalk Resort and catch a bus going to Disney Springs at one of their bus depots
Coming from EPCOT
- Walk or Boat to Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club, or Boardwalk Resort and catch a bus going to Disney Springs at one of their bus depots
Leaving ANIMAL KINGDOM
- This one is a little trickier since your ONLY option is to take a bus. The closest resort to Animal Kingdom is Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge where you can grab a bus to Disney Springs
